Filter Aid:
The surface upon which solids are deposited are called the filter medium.
Filter aids are a special type of filter medium. The filter aid forms a fine
surface deposit that screen out all solids preventing them from contacting and
plugging the supporting filter medium
Filter Aid is a type of inert materials and it used to filtration pretreatment. The solid separate from liquids by forcing the liquid to flow through a porous medium.
